Nervos is pleased to announce a new partnership with Gambit Esports, one of the leading esports clubs in the global professional area. As a sponsor of the club, Nervos is expanding its global footprint into esports, one of the fastest-growing sectors today.

According to NewZoo, the global esports market is expected to pass the $1 billion revenue mark in 2021 and rise 70% over the next four years. Platforms like Twitch, which gives viewers a chance to tune in to their favorite players’ streams 24/7, have helped more mainstream audiences discover competitive gaming, leading to the industry’s explosion in growth.

Now, with the widespread popularity of NFTs and increasing interest in metaverse-focused platforms like The Sandbox, the worlds of blockchain and esports are more connected than ever.

“Blockchain and NFT industries are indisputably revolutionizing the way people complete different transactions online – the same way esports changed the way people perceived video games,” Konstantin Pikiner, Sports Director of Gambit Esports, said in a statement. “I believe that our tech-savvy fans will welcome this new format of online collecting and find it exciting and engaging. Welcome to the Gambit family, Nervos!”

“It’s exciting to see the growth of blockchain and NFTs in the esports industry and to see more people discover the possibilities of these emerging technologies through various platforms and clubs,” said Kevin Wang, co-founder of Nervos. “We’re excited to expand our reach into the esports market and introduce the club’s millions of fans to our growing blockchain ecosystem.”

Nervos will partner with Gambit Esports as a sponsor in upcoming tournaments. Gambit CS:GO roster won a number of prestigious tournaments, such as the PGL Major Kraków 2017, IEM Katowice 2021, Blast Premier: Spring Finals 2021 and other events, which allowed our team to hold the TOP-1 position in the HLTV global CS:GO ranking for 14 weeks in a row. Gambit VALORANT roster is now considered the best team in the world after winning the prestigious VALORANT Masters in Berlin with a total prize pool of 700,000 USD.
