It has been just over a week since Nervos announced that it had Force Bridged to Binance Smart Chain (BSC). This cross-chain bridge is part of our multi-chain strategy and interoperability journey, specifically aimed at contributing greatly to our booming DeFi ecosystem.
We would like to share a few numbers and notions now that we have seen the bridge in action, and also update you on what else is to come in the future, thanks to the Force Bridge.
Reading the Numbers:
- Total Trade Volume: Over 10m
- Yokai Traffic Increase: over 37k
- Additional TVL on Yokai: over 30m
- Social Engagements: Over 5,000 engagements
What does it all mean?
We are happy to see good growth in these early stages of launching a new bridge to a large and active DeFi community on BSC. We do expect the TVL and trade volume to continue to rise, but the interest and engagement towards Yokai is also pleasing.
The intention with bridging to other platforms is inline with our multi-chain strategy, but it is also an opportunity to reach out and engage with other communities and form a more interoperable blockchain ecosystem.
Additionally, Nervos is proving itself to be a burgeoning and upcoming DeFi ecosystem that offers a good user experience and powerful potential across multiple chains and assets.

Having bridged to Ethereum, and with plans to expand to other ecosystems and dapps, like Cardano and MELD, as well as Cosmos and Kava, the Force Bridge is the architecture to a more holistic DeFi ecosystem.
As we continue to expand our layered architecture, we hope to provide users with a DeFi ecosystem that can reach all of their needs. Different chains and assets, as well as a growing number of dApps and cross-chain integrations mean big things for Nervos in a DeFi setting.
More so, developers will also appreciate the interoperable journey we are on as these teams can port their dApps to Nervos and gain access to projects, tools, and resources available in our burgeoning network focused on DeFi development.
